Our team traces its history back to 2005 when Dave Preszler joined Curt Bennett to form The Bennett Group, which became Bennett-Preszler Wealth Management in 2016.

We updated the name to Preszler Wealth Planning, a service of D.A. Davidson & Co., in 2022 when Curt started his well-earned retirement after a successful 26-year career.

We are proud to be a part of the Southern Oregon community.

We believe in getting involved in local events, serving on not-for-profit boards and sponsoring community ventures to help strengthen this valley we all call home. We work hard to help our clients think through their charitable intentions and guide them to support causes they care about in financially smart and savvy ways.

Our local roots run deep. Dave was raised in Siskiyou County and moved to the Rogue Valley in 1997, just two years after finishing his undergraduate college degree. Diane Holt, our team's associate financial advisor, and Amanda Bailey, our lead client associate, were born and raised in the Rogue Valley.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Dave focuses on coaching clients to clarify their goals and pursue long-term strategies for reaching them. He also serves as a portfolio manager for the team's discretionary investment strategies. He has been a financial advisor since 2005 and holds an MBA in finance from Marylhurst University. He completed his undergraduate degree in English and history at Simpson University.

Raised near Yreka, CA, Dave has lived in the Rogue Valley since 1997 and is an active member of the community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Southern Oregon Estate Planning Council. He is a past president of the Southern Oregon Estate Planning Council and formerly served on the boards of the Chamber of Medford/Jackson County, the Providence Community Health Foundation, the Southern Oregon Sports Commission, Simpson University, Pacific Bible College and the Jackson County Library Foundation. Dave and his wife, Erin, have three children. He enjoys tennis, cycling, skiing and a host of other outdoor activities.

Diane brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial services and insurance industry and currently serves as an Associate Financial Advisor for the team.

Diane holds the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ designation as well as the Series 7 and 66 licenses. She focuses on the financial planning , portfolio strategy and client strategy sessions while also serving as the lead contact for retirement plan sponsoring employers and participant employees. 

Diane and her husband, Barry, are both natives of the Rogue Valley. They reside in Central Point with their daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening and reading.

She is a Medford native with a passion for dogs, especially her own terrier, Stella. Her hobbies include gardening, traveling, spending time with her family and watching movies.
